Founded in 1992 by Aldo Vicenzo and headed by Rodi Caglieri alongside a team of architects and subtrades, Avicor has become a leader in both the construction and interior design industry in Eastern Canada and the United States.
In addition to the ultra modern sleek interior office designs, Avicor boasts several LEED projects, committed to ensuring innovative and environmentally sustainable options.
While their reputation and code of ethics stand tall, their overall branding and identity were due for a redesign. On the occasion of their 25th anniversary, Avicor launched a new mandate to rebrand all print and digital elements.
Ganian media was selected to refresh the Avicor brand, initiate a new visual identity, print collaterals, environmental signage and website development.
Inspired by their sophisticated interior design projects boasting discreet finishes and orderly lines, Ganian media proposed a thinner, sans serif font with a modified “A” and “R” while the C and the O are paralleled in both curve and kern.
The result is a contemporary new eponym featuring finer, steadier lines with an understated European flare whilst conserving the founder’s initials and spirit.
The collaterals of the new look and feel follow the same minimalist charm. The play of the dark grey behind a lighter grey, a stipulation of the client, highlights the refined logo lending a numinous air.
The Web Development
Along with a rebranding mandate, Avicor assigned the designers at Ganian Media the charge of redesigning their website and aligning their online marketing with the new brand.
Ganian Media web designers revamped the website with a WordPress platform for easy content management and future redesign.
The minimalist composition is repeated throughout the site with oversized images and nominal text. The new Avicor website is crafted with UI design at the forefront of the build pairing intuitive and user friendly navigation with its global straightforward quality. The final product is responsive, mobile and tablet friendly.
